Episode 6: Not Good

Episode 5: Farting Around

We're in mid 2011 going into 2012 and we start getting some of first "big" shows. We talk about our first warped tour battles, a camping trip that Doug for some reason did not bring anything for and our biggest show to date at that time: opening for Papa Roach and completely blowing it.

Episode 4: We Be Like

We go deep into our first EP and studio experience. Learning the ropes, looking at how we wrote songs back then and the shows that followed afterwards. Can a metal producer/engineer turn 5 kids into a pop punk/ska power house? Spoiler: no.

Episode 3: Get A Job

We talk about some of our first shows as a 5 piece and some of the people that helped push our momentum forward, including our first "record label". We also dive into our involvement with the Boys & Girls Club and the number of shows they hosted to help us and the surrounding community. Nathan also takes a moment to point out how expensive a band can be, especially if no one else has any source of income.  

Episode 2: Chums

We take a look at the other side of the coin and dive into Nathan's first bands and the path that lead to his never ending bond with Doug. We talk about the first "real" shows Noise Brigade had at a small local church, show etiquette and why ghosting people is not a healthy option depending on the situation.

Hello! Our first episode! We start out by going all the way back to 2008 with Doug writing songs on guitar pro, forming the band with his best friend and covering the song "Beer" at one of the bands first shows at an AA meeting. We listen back at Noise Brigade's first demo and keep asking the age old question, "what were we thinking".
